HLX Staffing, a global leader in virtual staffing solutions, is currently seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Information Technology Support professional. This role is based at our offshore center and operates according to worldwide time zones, delivering high-quality IT support to our clients across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  2. Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
  3. Write training manuals and train computer users.
  4. Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
  5. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  6. Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  7. Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
  8. Follow up with clients to ensure issues have been resolved.

Job Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in an IT support role.
  2. Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  4. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
  5. Exceptional customer service skills and patience when dealing with difficult issues.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Experiences and Qualification Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Proven work experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar role.
  3. Proficiency in Windows/Mac OS and office software suites.
  4. Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
  5. Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus.
