At HLX Staffing, a global leader in virtual staffing solutions, we are currently looking for a detail-oriented and organized Credentialing Specialist to join our team at our offshore center. This role will work according to worldwide time zones, ensuring seamless support for our clients across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the entire credentialing process from start to finish for healthcare professionals.
  2. Maintain up-to-date data for each provider in credentialing databases and online systems.
  3. Ensure timely renewal of licenses and certifications.
  4. Review application materials and verify professional credentials of healthcare providers.
  5. Prepare and maintain accurate reports and records.
  6. Work closely with healthcare providers to collect necessary information and documents.
  7. Respond to credentialing inquiries with professionalism and in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Credentialing Specialist or similar role in healthcare.
  2. Knowledge of medical terminology and certification standards.
  3. Proficiency with databases and document management systems.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  6. Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Qualification Requirements:

  1. A degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is required, preferably in a credentialing role.
  3. Familiarity with the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) standards and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards.
  4. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus.

Exceptional communication skills are required to liaise with healthcare providers and internal teams effectively.
