HLX Staffing, a global leader in virtual staffing solutions, is seeking a meticulous and efficient Healthcare Data Entry Operator to join our team at our offshore center. This role will work according to worldwide time zones, providing reliable data entry support to our healthcare clients across the globe.

Responsibilities:

1. Enter patient information into electronic health records accurately and efficiently.
2. Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check the output.
3. Secure information by completing database backups.
4. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive healthcare information in line with privacy regulations.
5. Update and maintain patient records with timely and accurate information.
6. Respond to requests for data retrieval in a timely manner.
7. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Job Requirements:

1. Proven data entry work experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
2. Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch-typing system is a strong advantage.
3. Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
4. Basic understanding of databases.
5. Great attention to detail.
6. Confidentiality and integrity, given the nature of the job.
7. High school degree or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be preferred.

Qualification Requirements:

1. A high school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification will be an asset.
2. Previous experience as a data entry operator, data entry clerk or similar position.
3. Familiarity with healthcare terminology and medical codes.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus.
